Welcome back everyone!! We're very excited to share with you all what we have been up to this past week! This weekend Katy and Kaitlin went over to Bailey's house and for almost three hours all we did was make soap and packaged the soap and sold the bars we made! We didn't really come in with a plan on what we were going to do but we eventually figured it all out. We began by making bigger and less complicated designs using the actual soap molds we have purchased at the craft store, but after about five bars made Bailey came up with the idea of using cookie cutters on a baking sheet to make different and more unique designs. We ended up making seventeen bars of soap with many different scents and colors. After making the soap we began to package what we made, and later that night we ended up selling all the bars we made earlier that day to a couple different people. We have also sold a few bars to our friends before we had met up with each other. As of right now we have sold $64.00 worth of soap. Our prices range from two to six dollars depending on the size and amount of soap sold in each unit. We have made a bigger profit in week two than we had thought we would. Before the next time we get together we hope to buy more options in the scent field and maybe more options in the color field. We hope to have more variety before the end of this project. Can't wait to show y'all what we make next week and what has changed from this week to the next!
See ya next week!!
