After really thinking about COVID-19 as a group, we realized how ironic our project was considering what is going on around the world. What a better time to base a whole project off of making soaps than now? None of us knew the full extent the corona virus would have on us all until it hit us, and it hit us hard. The stores are selling out of handsanitizers, soaps, toilet paper, etc, so now is such a perfect time for our group to be making homemade soaps. Not only are we stocked full of many different scents and shapes, but our soap is also pretty cheep, selling at around $4 a bar. That is cheaper than most stores and will help with your new family budgets as times get harder. So our group has been having a little bit of trouble getting together to actually make the soap as a team recently. On weekends when it's most ideal to get together, we seem to run into a few hiccups that end up not allowing us to get together.
We still have been individually buying and selling the soaps we have to the best of our abilities with this virus going around. The quarantine has definitely been a challenge to get around with finding people to buy from us and get together to make it, but we are doing our best to make things work out and keep our little business going. Hopefully we will be able to get together as a group and will have plenty of pictures and new things to report on. Until then, stay safe and healthy!! :)
